"Cousin Croquet - Connected Cousins", mixed media, 24"x15"
Created as a history and memory piece for nieces and nephews to remember family times created for them at Tree Top Ranch. Family gatherings often included a game of croquet, the rules unique to the cousins. A letter reminding them of the importance of family and the creation of memories is embedded within the background text. All nieces and nephews are attached by rope looped around their limbs or bodies to signify how close they are and that they have several connections, among them three sets of aunts and uncles who are married to each other.
