"Revealing a Path - Detail 2" Textile, 12.5"x48" A spiritual journey is depicted and although there is a void initially, ,the journey is colorful and various fragments of the path are revealed. Symbolism is used throughout including shrouds of the Lord's Prayer and looking up to the cross.Techniques and materials include hand- dyed fabrics, silk screens created from photos and drawings, machine quilting, inks, crayons.

"Sentinels - Looking for Light", textile, 18"x45" Inspired by horseback rides in the forests at Tree Top Ranch and a photo taken by fellow artist Joyce Brown while hiking at Lake Louise. This artwork incorporates raw edge applique', machine embroidery, painting, fusing, hand dyed silk and cotton, machine quilting. "Sentinels" travelled for two years as part of the Fibre Art Network "Abstracted Show" where artists were paired together- one creating the realistic portrayal of a subject and one creating an abstract. Linda MacKay teamed up with Joyce Brown to depict the forest scene.
